Im deciding to to as much to the sxi engine as possible, to be a lil different instedda whacking a new engine in i dont need a 150bhp car anyhoo, so no matter.
rite-o then...... bought the car on 52/53000 miles like this....
then i whacked on a scorpion monza backbox (straightened it after a while
and debadged it leaving the 16V.
then i splashed out on tints - just to make it look a bit sleeker.
the suspension was really shot, so with little money i bought some gmax -40mm springs, and then some -40 apex shocks realising how dump gmax were (buying apex springs soon or putting some 1.4 gmax springs on). also took the side strips off and sprayed the back lights along with a sunstrip.
leaving it looking like this.......................
then i drilled and detubed my airbox and put a pipercross panel filter in it, decoked my engine, remus sports centre section pipe, ecotek valve (for petrol saving , JVC headunit, debadged grill, bought some 16 inch white rota slipstreams, back seats out and new spark plugs and smoked indicators making it like this............
now i plan to colour code at least handles, but after photoshopped (antmashed and ste - thanks) i think i might leave my bumper bits.
smooth off my rear wiper and possibly smooth off my rear lock.
fit an alarm when i get the dosh.
roll my arches properly
front strut brace
coilovers or something like an eibach sports kit.
depo smoked headlights or just light brows.
then start properly doing the engine
dbilas inlet manifold.
lexmaul or sportex exhaust manifold.
new gearbox with lightened flywheel - but not sure what to get - help?
forced air induction kit
and i dont know what else i can get
tellus if you know of anything....... and what do you think so far!

I have fitted some Depo's, but the bulbs need adjusting i.e. aligning up. I don't know what is right or wrong. It was too dark for me to take pictures today, so I plan on taking some tomorrow

They're actually pretty good. As it happens, when fitting mine my headlight bulb blew, still had sidelight and main beam though. Went to Halfords and saw their 'Brilliance' bulbs which are supposedly 30% brighter. However 'cause of the Depo's, they're no different to normal headlights, which means I haven't lost light and I haven't got mine aligned properly yet.

At a guess I'd say yes. Put in some Halford's 'Brilliance' ones and I can't see any difference. Plus I don't have them set up right.
Then again I'm used to flying down hills on my bike with a 10w and 5w front light - anything is bright compared to that

I got depo's the other week and the light seems better than standard lights. And it's still got standard bulbs.

Put the rubstrips back on the doors and quarters, makes it look like a 1.0 12v without them.
