Cosmo you have to remember that spurs are the greatest team ever, i bet if they played the italian side (using them as they are the current world cup holders) they would beat them. Spurs are the best, who needs Henry when you could have Defoe

exactly.
But, in all seriousness, there is being supportive of your team and thinking they are good (we all do it) and then there is just being stupidly crazy and thinking they are a lot better than they actually are.

I know but over the years i have learnt all spurs fans are numptys. They all actually believe spurs are the greatest team ever. Dont get me wrong i think Arsenal are the billy bollocks but im not stupid enough to start saying, oh we beat man utd twice this season and they are top of the league so we should be top of the league.
But it does brighten up my day coming on here and reading what topshot has to say. He has an answer to everything.

The songs the Chelsea fans sung last night i think says it all about Spurs..
They did it last season trying to get 4th place.
They did in the League Cup vs Arsenal and then against Chelsea.
along the lines of:
"3-1 up and you fucked it up"

You get arrested for entering the field of play. He wont get any criminal charges against him in the end, just banned from going to football stadiums for a few years, and probably a lifetime ban from WHL.
Entering a field of play is a criminal offence
And he could also be done for attempted assualt, wouldn't suprise me if he didnt end up inside TBH

I beg to differ mate, doing that to someone on a night out in the street would probably get you a caution, doing it on a football field (a place your not even supposed to be in front of millions of people) is a different matter.
I'd be guessing he will get banned for life from entering any Football Stadium in England & Wales, and even from going within a 5 miles radius of grounds where Spurs are playing. I know people who have been involved in fights outside grounds and got given jail sentences, let alone running in the field and trying to twat somone.

But had teams like Braga, Leverkusen, Benfica, Sevilla, Newcastle etc teams who have all beaten top opposition in both domestic and some european games
So have West Ham...but you wouldnt say they were a great side

sevilla DONT look unbeatable. If we play like last night we shall lose, if we play like we did in the 3-3 draw with chelsea and 6-4 agg win over braga i wont be worried.
so if you play like you have in 85% of the games this season you wil lose, it you play like in 15% you'll win?
The last few weeks:
4-1 bolton
4-0 fulham
2-1 Everton
4-3 west ham
3-2 braga twice
3-1 watford
3-3 chelsea
i think we have a good chance. If i wasnt a spurs supporter i wouldnt be counting us out based on recent form
[Edited on 20-03-2007 by topshot_2k]
Recent form would also suggest you leak too many goals, especially against lower class opposition, Sevilla are a different animal to any team on that list, when they attack they have 6 fwd's, when they defend their pace allows them to have atleast 8 or 9 behind the ball, Alves, Adriano, Renato, Jesus Navas.... if you can keep them 4 quiet you may get a result.
