Well had an excellent day at football yesterday and i could hardly even focus on the match. Got in touch with York about doing some photos during the match and after showing them some of my pics they gave me a press pass .

Got to the ground at 14:40 and went to the ticket office to get my complimentary match ticket and press bib. Met up with a photographer called Lewis and went in the ground and onto the touchline just before kick off. Set up in front of the David Longhurst stand and the game begun! From then on i don't really have an idea of how the match went as i was always looking for shots and couldn't concentrate on how we was doing all i know was it finished 0-0 and we had a goal disallowed (so at least i didn't miss much!)

Good stuff mate. Some good pics there. Would be fun doing that all the time! Free football, plus getting paid for the pleasure.

Cheers Nath Aye its not too bad but if you want to actually watch the football its not much good, you miss half of it looking for action shots etc!

Put it this way if the match ment something important and i had the choice of payng and been in the stands with the fans or shooting pics for free i know where id rather be! I'd love to do it at a club i didnt support then it would be much more fun and relaxing. Was tough cheering my team on and trying to get pics at the same time.

God knows what i would have done if we had scored

Was shooting with a Nikon D70s with a Nikon 70-200 VR lens. This is what my camera looked like with it on:

And me shooting with it

Edit: Had an e-mail from the club saying i can shoot at the remaining matches of this season next match then - Exeter!

Thats a bonus!

Bet that lens isn't cheap, my Dad has one half the size and that cost him a small fortune!
