I've recently bought a central locking kit (arrived today) and I don't know where to start.
I've heard that some corsas that don't have central locking as standard still have the loom present for it.
How can I check if mine has this loom? It's a 1995 1.4i LS.
Any advice appreciated, cheers.

plugged into door mechanism inside door, but thats as far as it goes once you get inside car a pillar its not there, will have to run your own

Alright. Cheers. So if it's not there it's a lot more complicated?
If the loom is not there, does that mean I have to run wiring right from the drivers side to the passengers side?
It all seems like a right ballache to me lol.

No-one got any diagrams or pictures of where the loom is? And anyone know where I can fine a tutorial/guide to instal CL? I've looked all over and googled everything.

is it remote central locking or just central locking? if its remote central locking is it kit or alarm?

It's a remote central locking kit but I currently don't have any central locking at all. It's a kit I got from a website. Know where I could find a good tutorial?
Searched all over these forums.

should come with wiring diagram and all connections if its a kit

Yeah it does come with a wiring diagram but I don't know what colout all the wires are on vauxhalls.
Anyone tell me all the colours for the wires and what they're for?

Anybody? I don't like to be persistant and annoying but this central lockking this is going to get on my nerves if I don't get it finished.

you will either have central locking or not the wiring will not be there if you do not have it
So yes you will have to run all the wires yourself into each door and across the car

Right, so if the wiring is not there, where do I connect all the actuators to?
They will all obviously have to be fitted to a permanant live but what wire/wires would I connect them up to in the cars main loom?
I'm just not sure which colour wire does what on Vauxhalls. Sorry if I sound really daft, just not overly confident when it comes to electrics.
