hi i just had my arteb crystal headlights fitted the other day and over the past 3 days they have been keep condenseing up is any one else haveing this problem or does any one know what i can to stop it from happening??

stick them in the airing(sp?) cupboard for 24 hours and iirc will prevent it happening again. but is quite common on new aftermarket lights and even standard ones

then add a second smeared coat of silicon seal around the original seal if they were mine!

damn really iv just paid £20 for these fitted and dont really wana pay another for them refitted

yes for them to be lined up correctly because when i fitted my 1st set of angel eyes they did not shine correct

They are LHD, how can they be fitted correctly?

The one of mine get condensation in it, only when hot water has been on them though.

Mine did when i first got them but they havn't condensed up in ages now.

Matt - A mech i spoke to when i got my MOT done said that with some LHD lights if you reverse the metal shield thing that aims the bulb light it should be possible to make them RHD as apparently some of the new high spec BMW's have this feature where it just twists round so you can swap between LHD and RHD.

But i do not know how easy/possible it is with the FK/artebs lights.

strangely the my lights have not condensed up today,gona keep an eye on they and see what happens.i have sent GBK performance an email just explaining what was happening and im just waiting to see what they say

My left one condenses up, but only when I wash the car due to the excess water vapour around. they usually dry out though, but if not then driving at night dries them because of the bulb heat!

yeah iv noticed that when i have headlights on it clears them but it would look a lot better if they were clear all the time so they do actually look like crystal headlights
