Do you think The Introduction of Sky TV has been a good, or bad thing for the English game?

And us. Sky TV has only been good for the premiership IMO. TV money needs to be split a bit more fairly really, some of the lower leagues get next to fuck all tv rights.

I know the Premiership pulls in a lot more viewers but it's creating a stupid gulf now and what with all the foreign players in our game it's making it difficult to blood home grown talent.

Even the Championship is pulling away hugely from league 1 now almost like the gap between the Premiership.

And us.

ITV Digital destroyed lots of teams, they have a lot to answer for, I bet they are run by Jews.

Abso-fucking-lutely! £30million for finishing bottom of the Premiership as of next season! Fucking joke!

but without that sort of money for the Prem the teams in and around that level wouldnt be attracting such huge money now and in the future, and therefore would be even less money in lower divisions. Its a vicious circle.

I think there does need to be more money going to the lower divisions though.

It's not a balanced amount though. The gap is too big. The amounts are maybe alright, but its the gap in the amouts given to the Prem and the CCC and Football Leagues that is the problem.

Yeah, Im not 100% on what is going where when it comes to this new deal (any links to some new figures?). I would expect the Prem teams to get the vast majority, after all it is those bringing in this huge sum of money, but would also hope to see a good chunk going to the lower divisions.

Either way, you should be thankful of getting any, if we were like Spain where they negotiate their own TV deals you'd be getting nothing!
