The G/F's Car was pre registered by Arnold Clark about a year ago and she bought it in August.

When she bought the car the pre delivery service check was carried out.

I would asumme that the service would be due 1 years after that, however A/C have just sent a flyer in the post saying that her first service is due now.

Is this right or are they just trying to bleed more money out of me

Check the service/owners book.

I'd say it'd be about 10k-12k miles service. 1st one might be after 5k or something though.

How many miles has it done?

Generally, they send the reminder early so you can book it in on time (or my local Vauxhall do, not sure about other brands/dealers)

Service shedule is 1 yr or 18,000 miles.

Shes only done 6,000 Miles

its usually 12months or so many miles which ever comes first look in your service book

First serice sometimes comes a little before doesnt it? My fathers Audi wanted one really quickly, at 5k i think, then has one every 12k? So every 12 weeks for him - he knows Swindon Audi personally!
