Are they any good?,bought a magnex back box at the weekend to go on my 1.6 sport as the powerflow system is too loud and raspy.Im after performance as well as a nice sound.just bought the back box thinking it would go straight onto the centre section but its been custom made so the centre pipe wont fit onto the magnex back box! grrr

So i think im gonna go n buy a remus racing tube and then fit the magnex onto that! Any opinions/advice welcome

ive got a remus onto a scorpion monza and that pops all over the place. sounds like a tvr when ur going like 30 in third

they sound MEATY TOO - But my back box was deep, so now its really deep and then really raw once your ove 3/3 and a half thousand revs.

i had to shorten the remus and flare the tube coming off my back box though. then use a lot of putty doesnt blow but looks wank lol.

sounds like what i want. lol. i dont know what exhaust is on mine but its really quite quiet. i was thinking off cutting out the middle box and welding in a bit pipe but unsure whether this would maybe be too loud. you got any pics of ur exhaust dan?

isnt stupidly loud. not as loud as a decat.

lets just say even on really wide streets you hear it echoing back into the car off the walls.
in tunnels its deafening though

i wouldnt say its too loud at all.

got no pics im afraid. if i did youd see a straight black pipe with putty on both ends, and shiny pipes on the sides of it lol

1. any exhaust without a centre silencer (exept ones designed not to have one) will sound stupid and loud

2. it also makes it raspy depending on the engine type.

now im confused so what is the answer i have spent £70 on a centre section to remove my std vauxhall centre as it just had a powerflow back box when i bought it and wanted it louder. But now my magnex back box wont fit it which cost me £144 do i go for a remus tube with no silencer or will it be just as raspy as the powerflowe i have on now, mates at work tell me to get a full system of the same make,hmm..but they are normally too quiet for me

im doin this as well, i had a decat straight through pipe and it was very poor, sounded really raspy and loud. so im putting the cat back in to sort out the raspyness and just tone it down a bit.
