thats what it looks like now. but its annoying me as it needs sooooo mcuh doing to it and its not even cheap things.

list of things that need sorting:
1) rust is starting to appear on the boot
2) front bumper needs a respray
3) rear bumper could do with a respray
4) bonnet needs a bit of rust sorting and a respray
5) suspension is broke i think (would be getting a full lowering kit)

plus i want cobra forenza (sp) seats in it and the interior sorting out.
so altogether my cars annoying me now as i need to spend far too much money on it to get it how i want it. plus theres an annoying buzzing/rattling noise coming from the glove box but i think i know what that is and i should be sorting it 2moro.

sorry for the rant.

ps anyone want to hazrad a guess at how much it will all cost me.

just get a ful respray and all rust sorted!

then 60mm lowering kit

nah ill pass lol. but with your atleast you can or well seem to be doing it yourself whereas i couldnt/cant so it would have to go to a body shop.

im at the same stage mate, i need to fit my front bumper, side skirts, get my spoiler painted and fitted, get a new backbox, get a new petrol tank fitted (not cheap) dints and dings, rust from rear wiper hole, paint chips repaired, interior finishing

so i know exactly how you feel mate but just stick at it and itll be worth it in the end

don't know how much a repray on front and back bumpers will be but you might be able to pic some post 97 bumpers in flame red up fairly cheap?

and i know how you feel mate, car's are a money pit unless you own a classic etc. just gotta keep on going

Do you have a garage/somewhere sheltered? If so, spend £150 on spraygun/compressor, and have a go at it yourself. It's how I learnt.

dont want post 97 anymore im sticking with the pre 97 for now anyway.

not to sound like a little girl or anything but i want my car finished now lol. so can sit back and admire it and plus save up.

Ok, you cant do a whole car in there, but bonnets/bumpers etc, shouldnt be a problem...

mines a touch smaller than yours id say put it this way you can only just walk down the one side of the car. but its still having the time to do all the preping and spraying plus practicing.

Believe me, it is possible, I did all mine whilst studying for my degree/working too.

It's very rewarding if you do manage it.

Good luck with the car anyway, sure you'll sort it one way or another.
