As above what the legalities on this i'm fully insured but mot and tax have expired is it just a fine for no MOT or tax the car is roadworthy.

Know its not sensible but need a car and can't get MOT done til monday

dont drive it, your not legal. end of.

only drive it to the mot station on monday

i have drove a couple of times without a mot and been pulled, i went to produce as normal and all i said i have mislaid the mot certificate, and its just a fine, usually between £50-£70 and not once has it invalidated my insurance..

but without it having any tax on the car they could impound it.

go MOT station monday, get MOT, then go tax your car. not worth the risk imo
