Hello,
Just been putting my suspension together using the Tie Bar spacer kit (From Chris Astley)
As shown below:
But i've noticed with the car jacked up in the air the Tie bar is worryingly close to the Gearbox
Is this normal???
When the Suspension is compressed im sure the tie bar will touch on the gearbox..... help???
Does anyone else have a problem with this?

I havent even lowered mine mate on the V6
Mine sits about 1mm from the rollbar

I would have thought the Tie bars would move up towards the gearbox when the suspension is compressed 
BeArby, doesn't yours hit when the suspension compresses over bumps???

suspension controls the heigth of the full car. so the full thing will move as one. it like thinkin the strut sup is a couple of inches from the wheel and then when the suspension compresses it wil hit, it wont as itll all move...

Yes I understand what your saying but it'll all move independant of the gearbox.... Hence why it will clash if it compresses enough?
