on fitting a f28 to a corsa turbo found that you need to change the speedo drive in the box but is there any other way of getting the speedo right with out splitting the box

No !!
I've got an F28 in my Nova, fitted the Cav Turbo 160mph clocks so i didn't have to swap the speedo drive, but they read way to high only way i could get it to read right was to swap the 160mph face (just the face not the whole speedo) for a 140mph one, checked it against GPS and its right withing 4 - 5 mph.
Don't think having 15's helped much !!
