Hey Guys,
Well ive been a member of the site for a while now (Im 19 and from Bristol) and bought my Vec in February, I added an Irmy grille, Irmy mats and also the Irmy badge, plans include Gsi wheels and not sure what else tbh :439:

Its a 2000-W reg Sri V6 with 120k on the clock, i bought it for £2600 with 12Mnths Tax and Mot. Very very pleased with it, i think its a cracking car!

I washed it earlier and did the following:
Washed with Megs gold class car wash
Dried with chamois
Clayed the whole car with megs bar
Used megs paint cleaner
Used megs tech wax
Blacked the tyres
Cleaned the interior

So heres some pics! Opinions and comments very welcome..... :smile:

Insurance is £1600 at 19 with 2yrs driving, 2yrs NCB and 5 points! so not bad really for the spec

I thought you had to be a certain age to be insured on cars this size

Looks very clean mate. Just an idea, my mate has painted the chrome grill bit black on the front of his. Personally I think it looks better, just an idea for you anyway. Here is a pic.

Joe-I have thought about this but i think the chrome breaks up the black really, ta for the idea tho

Pete-I have an induction kit with the 3 pipe mod and this on its own howls above 4k, sounds awesome!

Personally I think the chrome round the grille is the cars most defining feature, would look a tad " normal " with out it
