What's the bigest size discs that you can fit onto standard Corsa Sport front hubs? (1996). Ithinking of going for bigger brakes, but i don't really want to start buying bigger hubs etc

can fit any size brakes you want really 2.0 16v brakes and v6 ones go on fine

Nope. Only wheels if you have 14's.

you dont need to change the wheels if you have 14s if you put 2L on do you?
i think 256mm disks?

V6 brakes uncer 16 inch wheels.



These have slightly more pedal travel than the 2 litre brakes.

I was meaning 2L brakes.

2L Brakes = 256...........14" Wheel min

V6 Brakes = 288...........15" Wheel min

what size are the 2lr brakes? i've read a post that the V6 brakes feel spongy

Just done that for you.

My standards are very spongy. Tho i think the fluid has never been changed.

I'm buying some goodridge hoses next wk.

I disagree. The pedal travels more to the bite point, but they aren't spongey. Thats if you change the fluid.
