Just browsing rightmove.co.uk, im assuming PCM means per month? Assuming 4 people rent a 4 bedroom house is that split up between each? What do you get for your money? What are you all paying?

I live in a 4 bed flat.
All I get for my money is to live in the property.
Its fully furnished but we pay all the bills.
It's £1100 a month so £275 a month each.

I dunno really, probably £30 ish a week on food, 40 ish a month on bills?

went privately (not through an estate agent) here, pay £55 a week ex. bills, and roughly around £70 including bills.
One thing i would do is make sure you check house out (obviously!) but make sure everything seems the legit - know a few mates who have been stung badly by a local dodgy-as-feck student estate agent (call GoHaven) and basically there houses are illegal (boilers in basements, or dodgy boilers, lead piping, illegal wiring etc).
Also see if you can contact previous tennents and see if everything is alright with the house etc!
And there are plenty of websites out there for student housing, where landlords post about properties - > HERE < (managed to view around 11 houses using this site, mainly from one landlord though) and > HERE < (never used it but it a similar site as the first).
Few tips from me would be to never assume the cost of bills, it'll always be more than your first guestimates (before moving in). See if the house has a water meter or not before moving in (could cost you an arm if bills aren't included in the weekly/monthly price). Oh and see what services you can get (in a cabled area or not), useful for internet access etc.
