I refuse to believe any speculation on future signings until I see them in a red shirt on Match of the Day.

I dunno, I really dont think Valencia will let him go for less than £30m, and I really cant see us spending that sort of cash on him. Would say Torres or Eto'o (possible swap with Alonso?) would be more likely.

Although, and I know this has been denied numerous times, the rumour about Henry coming just wont go away!

I've posted this before, someone like Eto is exactly what would make Arsenal challenge for the title next year.
The guy is pure class and partnering Herny
I think the lack of a deadly striker alongside Henry is the only weak point in Arsenal's squad

If you get Eto'o if would be fith Henry going the other way. You have both in the same team.

I disagree.
I think Van Persie was just starting to come into his own before he got injured.

RVP was immense before his injury
I can nigh on guarantee Villa will be going nowhere this summer... IMO Liverpool would be ebst going after Torres as Atletico will never win anything regardless of what they do (unless they become the next chlski) so hes quite likely to leave!

Villa has something like 7 years left on his contract and a £70m buy out clause so i'd be suprised if he goes anywhere anytime soon. Chelsea are rumoured to be bidding £45m.

torres is very loyal to athletico though, which could cause problems,
although if anyone signs him itll be liverpool with there spanish connections or then maybe man united
i think villa will stay,
and if arsenal do sign eto'o they wont have henry next season
tbh i dont expect arsenal to have henry next season anyway

I actually think Torres would adapt to the English game more easy and quicker than the other two. So would be less of a risk as would also be cheaper.
Villa and Eto will both be touch and go if they actually can play over here to the same effect as they have in spain. And with their massive price tags they would be a big risk to go for.

Torres to Liverpool, after seeing the message on his captains arm band in the paper yesterday "You'll Never Walk Alone" To much of a coincidence if you ask me.
Id love to see Eto and Henry up front for us next season but i do honestly believe that Henry is leaving for Inter Milan or will be involved in a swap deal with Barca for Eto.
RVP was finding his feet just before he got injured, he hasnt played since xmas and is still our top scorer with 13 goals. Imagine how different our season could of been if he hadnt of got injured.
Villa i dont think is going anywhere this summer, £70m buy out clause even chelski wont pay that much, plus i dont think Abromavich would be happy seeing Shevchenko on the bench every week, because obviosuly you would have Drogba and Villa upfront. Imo even if he does leave it wont be for chelski.

Interesting to see what pans out, and if we land villa or torres it'll be all down to the spanish connection
