does anyone else here not understand why people leave matches 15minutes early
i can understand if we are getting battered or winning easily but at 2-2 in a CL semi final it just doesnt make sense to me,
when it was 0-0 against liverpool last season and we scored in injury time, hundreds had already left, just seems a waste to me

yeah it doesnt make sense to me no matter what the result.
If your easily winning then stay and congratulate the team, if you lossing then stay and show your support for the team.

This happened tonight didn't it? I saw fans leaving around the 90th minute Silly imo, if you pay the money to go you should enjoy it and support your team until the end, especially when it was a close game like tonight.

yeah, 2 guys left at about 75minutes gone
as did a lad with his son,
then with say 2mins plus injury time there was plenty heading for the stairs

It makes perfect sense. The last train back down to Surrey departs just on full time. Haven't you worked this out yet?

I'm guessing that MAYBE the bloke didn't need to get a train hence making the post I noticed that about Man Utd tonight as well. As already said, if your team is getting gubbed, they could do with the fans staying and showing support. If winning, congratulate

It was the same with the Champs league final in 1999, Loadsa fans were leaving early then at 0-1 with 15 minutes left to play ect ( i think george best did too? cant remember sure i heard that)
and we all knew what happened at the end of that match... I hope they kicked themselves.

there were stories like that about Istanbul.
People leaving at half time and getting in a taxi. They got back to the centre and saw we had scored 2 or 3 and rushed back to the ground where the stewards actually let them back in!
