hey sorry to ask the same old same old but i have no time to search in detail, my mate has been offered a gsi/sport corsa engine and was wondergin wot he needs to do to fit it into his nova shell which was originally a 1.2 carb model i think...
are the mounts/shafts the same??
wot else will he need to do??

use the Nova mounts, Nova box and shafts, immobiliser might be an issue.

Oh, and tank and fuel lines will want changing to injection ones.

You just need the chip from inside the key and the bit that goes around the ignition barrel of the donor vehicle.

use an 8v nova setup as in belt, alternator and bracket, oh and crank pulley
theres v belt and ribbed belt, v is one with teeth on it and the ribbed belt is a newer type and just has grooves

Ribbed belt is wider and will cause issues when cornering. Its close enough with the v belt let alone a ribbed belt.
