i had to purchase a brand new tailgate from vauxhall for my car as i simply couldnt find one locally here that wasnt rusty as hell or looked like it had been driven over by a train
trade price 303.00 nasty
was working on a corsa b in work the other day (rare)
strip and fit time for putting a new front panel/lights/bonnet/bumper/blend wings etc etc 2.5 hours nasty
panel time (no bench work, just straight fit new front panel) 3 hours - tight
and on the same car it got a new front bumper and the old ones minty minty (dont know wots going on there) so i brought it home with me

@ haimsey the times i am talking about are the insurance times for repairing a corsa b front end, strip and refit means stripping the car for repair/paint and rebuilding it all back up after its done (lining the front up etc etc)
the panel time is the time to actually repair the car (pull if necessary and cut out damaged panels, line up and replace with new panels)
the bumper wasnt really damaged, dunno why it was replaced so i asked ym boss if i could have it and he said yes so i got a free bumper...
@ adam b, not gonna start putting pikey panels onto my car, put way to much into it to ruin it with shit like that now
@joe, whys the thread so confusing?? random yeah but not confusing imo

its a different random statement lol
the bootlid point is to highlight the price of a new bootlid
the insurance times is to highlight the very tight times to do the repairs in
the part about me getting the bumper is just another random part
lol
sorry for confusing everyone
