My car seems to be cutting out randomly when driving along. Its only for a split second then carries on as normal. Makes you jolt about inside the car Its as if its got a stutter, very annoying when giving it a bit of stick. Only been doing it since i took it out two days ago.
I've checked the plugs and they seem fine, plus they are new. Anything else that might be causing this?

Would this be when I flashed you and got no reaction down London Road?
Anyway, doesn't sound good. Pesky XE's. No EM light or anything? What petrol have you been using?

Common on them is the Hall sensor if you have a distributor rather than a coil pack.
I had exact same symptoms on my old 2.0 16v
