You need to come for a spin in my tuned 1.6 then - far more torquey than a C20XE (over 150lb/ft) and far, far quicker
i need a spin in andys car just to confirm i need tb's

Is there not anywhere closer you could get it mapped? Where are you taking it? SBD?

I'm taking it to Owen Developments in Oxfordshire. It's a long hike, but they built the engine, their rolling road is renowned for being one of the most accurate around and Mark is a bit of a genius when it comes to mapping GEMS management. Oh and I have an auntie who lives nearby - so make a bit of a holiday of it

I'm having the engine loom replaced this week and next - I'll post a load of new pics shortly (of new trumpets, airbox, etc.)

i was out for me first red top experience last nite....OMG....drivin a GSi astra and it was lush...i was nearly sellin the corsa straight off but after a few hours i decided that the corsa with the red top in will be much more of a sleeper as out on test drive a corsa c 1.8 sri just gunned it for us on the carriage way it put up a better fight than i thawt but we still smoked it...wuda been so much nicer to leave it sittin in a corsa b ;-)

i am a complete noob when it comes to engines but i have been quoted £3000 for a c20let convertion on my corsa 1.6 sport. that includes supply and fitting of engine, drive shafts, coilovers, F28 Gearbox, stut braces, SS exahaust system and all other bits nessasary. drop it off and pick it up all work complete. does that sound ok and is it worth it.
