Right, i know that C20LeT's have oil coolers as standard. But im looking at getting a Mocal one.

I take im going to need the oil cooler a sandwich plate all the fixings and a thermostat of some description. Could someone point me in the direction of where i can find all this stuff

But it appears not to have a thermostat so would be useless for road use woulnt it?

That is FAR too expensive mate

I have a sandwhich plate with no thermostat (cost £25)

a 10 row oil cooler (cost £21)

and the custom pipework is being made by a local business (for £20)

A sandwhich plate with a thermostat is better, im going to have to use 5w/30 when i install mine.

WAIT! If you have a C20LET you already have a sanwich plate? .....and all the pipework.

Just buy a bigger oil radiator

surely without a thermostat the oil will be too cool for normal use?

so i take it there are two varients of the oil cooler itself, with diferent entry an exit points?

Having the pipe connectors on top is better as most aftermarket ones are like this....meaning you can upgrade the cooler but keep using your orignial pipes.

If you have pipe connectors on the sides of the rad than you might need to adjust your pipework to accept an aftermarket rad.

just fit std oil cooler it will be fine for your needs really
