okay there, i have a 1.4 sri and have hit a problem with the boot build i want to make.
i have 2 sony amps and a kenwood 12" sub to be fitted into my boot. ive created a base plate to build it on, but the dad whos helping is worried i cant get to the spare wheel!!!
is there any designs to help get around it?? and any pics of sub builds

You don't legally need a spare. Just a bit wank when you have a flatty and have to call the AA.

well your best bet then is to make sure your build is fairly easy to remove if necessary and make sure everythings firmly atached to the base, also try and find a way to make any wiring easy to disconnect with out any tools aswell. that way if you need your spare then it shouldnt take too much to get the boot build out 1st.
though maybe having a split in the middle may not be a bad idea so you can pull out the 2 halfs and sling em on the back seats while you get your tyre out.

when making your false floor just have a big circle around where your spare wheel is, make the frame and the actual false floor a good idea would be to sound proof your spare wheel slot and connect that straight inside of the false floors inner frame, you will probably have to have your sub upside down though which is good anyway as more base less noise, and make sure that its easy to unscrew the top of the floor that way if you break down, unscrew a few screws lift the lid, pull the spare wheel out done deal.

get a can of tyre weld. they sell it in halfords, its the size of a fosters can so you can hide it anywhere, all it does is fill your puncture with weld and is fine to drive on again.

was just thinking that but could be a bummer if its a blowout or suchlike
