That would still have an ignition switch built into the panel.

tbh even it did only have a push button, i wouldve, clutch in out of gear, pull over quickly and rip off a ht lead

Ignition off, steering lock would come on..... you need ignition off then ignition back on (but obv don't start it)

steering lock wouldnt come on if the key was still in it

does on mine :S....... i think it does anyway because i turned ignition off to roll into garage once and steering lock came on nearly twahatted the wall

Ignition off wouldn't make the steering lock come on, and putting the ignition back on with the engine spinning would make it fire again.

Not if you where in neutral or dipped clutch

if the engine was still spinning, it would, and it will spin with the clutch in for quite a long time from 7000rpm ish.
