had a good bit of news 2day, found an oil leak ( yes i no not good news)where the gearbox connects, bolts were slightly loose. tightened them up (getting torque rench 2moz to torque them up) that stopped the leak so just need to keep my eye on the oil level now, as i thought the oil was seeping and being burnt.

loss of 25bhp through transmission!!! thats alot isn't it?

mine is 103bhp at flywheel and 88bhp at wheels - 15bhp loss

rte, i have decided to leave the gsi as it is now and drive it until it goes bang. then strip it.
plan on doing this around about dec/jan (if she lasts that long) then getting a civic vti s

slight change of plans, if the price looks good and doesnt brake the bank to much im going for a c20xe as a replacement engine for my sick c16xe.
will be looking to have a proffesional transplant. so keep your eyes open peeps as i could have some c16xe engine parts for sale and a 4-1 exhaust manifold.
