Hi, im fitting a subwoofer in my girls car at the weekend and need some advise!! the plan is to run the power cable through the gromet that seems to lead to the back of the glove box, how hard is the glove box to remove ? is this the best way of running the cable ?? would be grateful for any replies !! cheers

glove box is easy to remove, although i dont think you actually have to remove it,it should just drop down the back and IMO this is the easiest way to do it.

Have a look in the tutorials section mate, theres a really useful guide in there. Sounds like you've got the right idea tho
The glove is fairly easy to remove, two screws at the bottom, two at the top and one in the middle inside

5 min job an 4 odd screws
getting the wire threw the grommet is the bitch though v stressfull

I found the best way to do it is to tape the cable to a long screw driver, and push it through the grommit from the engine bay, then cut the tape off when the cable is through

yeh thts exactly wat i did but me being an idiot was trying to do it from the inside out to the enigne bay for a while

iirc you dont need to remove the glove box or i didnt in mine its just above the carpet line may need to remove the passenger shelve thingy ma doofer though..

to get it through the gromit.
just an idea (if you havnt already done it.) straighten out a coat hanger, tape the cable onto it and it'll jus slide through.
