Right Guys,
Yesterday I noticed that the Engine Management light kept coming on and then off again. Thought thats wierd better get that checked over the weekend.
Today on the way to work the car started Jumping... It would accelerate and then slow down and accelerate again... It looked like I couldn't drive and was kangarooing all over the place!!!
Could someone shed some light on what the problem is...

Cheers, If it is the EGR than how much is it gonna cost to fix?

could also be a faulty ecu

mate sounds like your idle valve happened to me and a few others on here costs about 160 altogether from vauxhall or it could be the egr valve went on me mates gsi costs 350 to replace

if its an egr valve i can give you a few numbers of places that sell them for £35-£50 2nd hand.

or ur TPS i had a loose wire on mine  luckily a 5 min job thanks to me trusted ECU diagnostic tool
