you need to drill through the multi-plug in the door if you plan to run your own speaker cable, which is an easy process and a bit fiddly but it's the best way to go rather than using the crap speaker cable thats there.
Other than that, it a case of running the speaker cables to where ever you plan to install the amp - taking in the fact that you should run power and remote down one side of the car and speaker cable down the other to reduce interference

nah, dont bother drilling anything, cut the speaker wires inside the car, and then put spade connecters on, so u can easily swap between headunit or the amp wires
