Basically im open to suggestions. Been looking at some LCD flat screen ones. Nothing too big or fancy. Im looking to spend upto £300. Any makes to go for and avoid? Also is it worth getting a HD ready one for the future?

My brother got a 14"/15" from Dixions for about £270.

Have a look on their website and Currys.

you can get a 32ich hd for around £350 now.

Dont think my room could house 32 inches of telly

See quite a nice one on comets website, but its a goodmans one. I had one of their tellys ages ago and it was ok but im still not too sure. Although arnt most LCD TV's actually made by the same company?

I think the panels are but not the rest. For example my mum and dad got a cheapo TV with Samsung panel, and I have a Samsung TV. Mine has'nt put a foot wrong, my mum and dads is shite remote does'nt work aerial is shit etc etc.
