lo ppl, i got a gsi on a 93 plate, its smoking a lot, a grey`y colour and the engine juddrs alot say like u put ur foot down and it goes and they slows done n chugs a bit sorta and then it seems 2 go fine on the top revs, and 1 esle had this? n e 1 got ideas?  cheers andy!

is it smoking grey or white m8?
could also be fuel starvation as well m8

Gsi's suffered with the valves alot sticking valves etc

mines running crap at the moment, gonna replace spark plugs weekend and that should solve my problem.
you sure its smoke, with the cold weather it could be condensation

i always find the solution is replacing the fuel filter. Piece of piss to do and its usually clogged 2 hell.

timing
check air filter and icv though. best cleaning them anyway.
