stripped the rear out today, and took all the sound deading out etc, but what the best stuff to use to get all the glue off etc?
and was thinking about spraying the floor? what do i use? do i need to use a primer? or can i just spray onto it and then laquar?
also any pics would be good ta

gunk, tar remover, white spirit, steam cleaner (to loosen it)

Autoglym tar remover is the king of all products for this job.
That and LOTS of kitchen roll/rag to soak up the tarry liquid.

It is messy and you'll get covered in so much shit 
I've still got a tar stain on some jeans 2 years after doing mine
You'll need a lot of tar remover too, like 2 bottles, might be an idea to get some water near by too, so you can rinse it.
Also, take the little rubber bungs out of the floor, then the tarry liquid flows out of them and makes it easier to clean (just don't do it on your nice clean driveway  )

paint it with halfords satin black, 2 big tins will do the job. its what both myself, Broster and dan-h has used there is pics in dan-h garage
