Seems a bit harsh if you can't afford/don't want them, all very well saying you can sell them on the exchange but its not guaranteed that they'll sell, although they probably will!
What are your thoughts on this matter Cosmotron?

already posted on this a while back, think when it was announced that the ticket prices were going up on average around 11% (I think, possibly 14%).

Yeah I knew about the price hike but the compulsary cup scheme is a bit shitty.

very shitty IMO. There was a quote from the Chairman of the Supporters club at the time saying that it will add something like £300 onto the season ticket price and he is having to give his up as just cant afford that.

Yeah, according to that a lot of fans aren't renewing.
I'm glad I couldn't talk my mate in to getting a season ticket now!

Im not sure why they are doing it, as surely you'd sell out for Euro games regardless of this.
Unless this new refinancing your doing wanted the ticket revenue guaranteed for all the games including smaller FA and Carling cup games.

Another example of a football club pricing fans out of the game

TBH ost of Utd fans can afford another £300 ontop of all their airfares from the Far East and Asia.

Most group stage Euro games sell out eventually. FA Cup games usually have 15-20k empty seats.
