Ok i have an oil leak so i need to find out where it comes from.

The thing is i'm not sure what grade oil is in it at the moment can i just top up with some i got from vauxhall the other day? I was told even if it abit different to what's in there now it won't harm! Is this true?

I would jack it up let it drain etc and then top it up but i don't have time at the moment, so hopefully i can just bang soem of what i have in.

Depends, a small amount will be ok. But I would'nt be putting a litre or more in of oil that might not be the same.

Who did the last service on the car. Find out what is in it, or do a complete change.
