i have just been on regal to look at the manifolds, and the Dblias X14XE Flowtec Manifold System is sold for £400 without the software, and £750 with the software.

http://www.regal-shop.co.uk/acatalog/copy_of_copy_of_copy_of_Corsa_C_Dbilas_Flowtec_Manifold_Systems.html

on both the descriptions it says gains of about 20bhp so what does the software do and why is it so much more expensive??

is it worth saving up more for the manifold with the software??

cheers

just get the manifold- you get a hugely noticable increase with just that-

if you want to take it further, get the manifold and then get uprated cambelt rollers from sbd and uprated arp rod bolts and get a remap with a raised rev limit

you will probably see 12-15 bhp with just the manifold-

remap and manifold will see 15-20bhp

all depends on condition of engine and quality of map and a few other elements

they come up now and again-
there is no real need to get the dbilas- there are other alternative performance inlets that give very similar gains-

there is one in the classifieds at the minute for £180
