I would say, her heart will live on, but lets be honest, in JRs hands its not going to do much living. Not for a very long while at least!

Ed, stuart paid very good money for the work carried out on the car expecting the price to represent the quality of the work carried out, its just a shame that the people who did the work didnt have the same passion for the car that stu did...
seriously, i still have most of the recipts here, well over £20k worth

I loved that car so much its unreal its such a sad way to go just goes to show you cant trust anyone nowadays. The engine work was done by a company who my friend at the time had a partnership in ok, there business was Renault but i thought an engines an engines, the rebuild including throttle bodies and the byldenstein head cost me close to £5k then the bodywork me got screwed here again The bodyshop was recommended by several people as being very good, they where even insurance approved repair centre,
So ED your comments quoting
"If he loved that car he wouldn't have got EVERYTHING on it bodged." was way out of line, sorry just my 2p worth
Oh and i dont want this to end up on a bad foot, so hear to N654 PRP the 1st 2ltr 16v courtenay converted corsa ever made, it shall be remember, i shall add some of my fav pics if you dont mind.

it was a shame i did enjoy driving it when it worked properly..
Highlight of ownership:
Raping a sierra cosworth down the missenden bypass, only then to be pulled over by the driver with the passenger pissing themselves laughing and being asked 'What the fuck is in that mate!!'
Also the way the seats ended up back in it is a strange and funny story!

Also was it really the first 2.0 conversion courtenay did??
i know the car was only 2 years old when it was done.. would explain a few things on the conversion - ie the 1.4 hubs and c.v joints
