Surely they aren't "vehicle" specific. I would have thought instead you go by offset (ET) and width?!

true but it depends what car he wants them for, say a ford/citreon/peugeot they are all pcd 4x108 but usually replica wheels are pcd 4x100

If 'pcd' is the distance of the holes etc then I never thought of that!

wobbly bolts wouldn't have anything to do with et42, et42 is the offset, how much the stick out from the hub, wobbly bolts are used to fit wheels from say a vauxhall with pcd 4x100 to say a fiat with pcd 4x98, the wobbly bolts have a washer on them that lets the bolts make up that 2 mm difference

centre bore is different. A few people hav looked into doing this and it comes down to risk mainly.

You can get the PCD to fit with wobbly bolts, however you will have to mill out the centre bore. The risk is will the replica wheel stand for being milled out and is there enough material there to be removed?

Cool wheels but to ge them on an astra will require some risk and trial and error. Maybe buy one and try it?

They are well over priced. I've seen sets go for less than £450 for that size.
