I need to pur-chase a new iPod as my one is gettign a bit knackered... Im after a new Black one. According to Apple website they only do 30GB and 80GB but theres one on Amazon thats a 60GB iPod Video... is this right? Its about £20 cheaper than the 80GB so if its right then I'll go for that one as I dont need 80GB!!
Please don't spam this with alternatives

Creative zen is much better, you can do sooo much more , the TV out feature is worth it over everything else! and being able to play any format on there , simply download your stuff then plug into the tv and watch it in full HD

i believes is a few mm thicker and a bit heavier, nothing too noticable to be honest - certainly fits in a pocket and weighs similar to a nokia 6600 (only phone i have to compare ).
Nismo - to be honest, theres little different between them, the ipod does video out, use winamp to transfer all my flac stuff to the ipod (on the fly converting to mp3) and i have doom on my ipod - eitherway both still produce a shite sound and have unrealistic snr figures and the only reason i got my 60GB ipod was becuase it was £50 quid....

theres a chance, but it's pretty safe - you get to keep the original apple firmware too (you get the option to use ipodlinux or apple firmware upon boot up). As long as you read the installation guide fully you'll be alright
