just got a xbox 360 yesterday and it says u get 1 month free xbox live, but i duno how to get it free when i make a gamertag it asks me to pay..... does any one kno how to get my 1 month free?

in the box there should be a gold leaflet with a voucher inside, like a scratch card.

no i think ive been robbed ha! ther is no voucher, and i have read what it says i have signed up 2 xbox live but then it says i need to pay or play by silver member

definitaly should be a Live leaflet with a card for 1 months subscription in it. Ring the shop up or buy a months online

thers a leaflet sayin u get one month free and all you do is connect and sign up but ther is no card inside and ive searched all the box etc. can u buy ne member ship online with paypal or ne thin? or do u ahve to have a credit card?

debit/credit card or buy a top up card from play.com
There def should be code. I had a scratch card style one and i entered the number and it gave me 1month

wel i guess im going have to pay for the months it will take a while for play.com to deliever the card i want just the code now so i can go live right now, cant be bothered goin to a shop n gettin one today

ill scratch the code of and u2u code. then sign into live and go to 'Redeem prepaid voucher' then enter the number in i give you.
I'll check when i get in if i have a spare one. if so ill u2u the details.

um you dont get a card, just sign up to xbox live and when it says choose your account type
silver
1 month
3 month
12 month
ect choose silver and it will then say your are entitled to a free months worth of gold then just proceed.

really i got a pre paid card for 1 month with mine aswell. that exlains why i didnt have to pay for a 2months then

yeah i was thinking about why they didnt make it a bit more obvious but i could only come up with either:
there tards and they dont know its hard to figure out how to get your free month.
or they want you to sign up for the 12 month to begin with lol.

yeah as ssj said, i didn't get a card either. Just choose silver and it'll pop up with the gold registration instructions

When I bought mine, i did what Dave a ssj said, signed up, it'll inform you that you have the free month.

yeah also works when making a new usa or jap account, lol although it was a hassel trying to sign up for live when its all in japanease.

you dont have to scratch off a card you get your 1 months when you sign up for the first time
