I have been after a full exhaust system for my corsa b sri 8v (82bhp model) found a company called evoR who do the full exhaust system and manifold for my car for £238 which is made by sportex...

Just wondering if any body has tryed there stuff and noticed any performance increase ?

Also any other companys that do a manifold and system for an 8v sri ?

I know alot of ppls will say get a eco tech 1.6 engine etc but i want to keep with the strong little 8v engines

Seems pretty cheap for a system and manifold.

Not sure on the gain and not too sure on quality but they are not the worst exhaust you can buy.

The sportex manifold is 130-140 and the cheapest system was 129...

ashley don't seem to do 1.4 8v stuff
Even there stuff is pretty cheap manifold is about 140

seems hard to find a decent proven system in my budget for my sri 1.4 8v

Good little site there thank you

isen't no manifolds on there for 8vs still but found quite a few exhaust systems for my car

This is one of them
http://www.potn.co.uk/c5205_3930_4241_7339_7344_p1432372.htm

Any input ? Bit worried as its for all different engine sizes..does this normally mean they have 5 different exhaust systems all the same price for them models or the one system all for the same engine sizes ?

They also do the same system but in stainless steel will that affect the performance or just keep it clean and rust free

Ok thanks...

There are other systems but there going on for £300 and plus the price of a manifold if i ever find one it will be equal to the cost of the car

Might go for the peco one over the sportex system looks pretty decent

On a mission to find a manifold for an 8v with the lambda thingy

NOOOOOOOOO !

i talked my self into a sportex system
Seems like the easy way full system with a manafold to match, couldent find anything else within my budget manifolds alone were £250-300 for janspeed...Peco one looked sweet but once again it was only the back cat system.

£276 posted...Its the full system where you have to remove the cat so will have to fit in when i get a new mot, 3" stainless steel back box with there manafold to match...

Hopfully i will feel something when its fitted...
Good price also the ones on ebay are £266 for manafold and back cat system so not really a FULL system as such...

If it dosent work too well you guys can have it for £150

yeh i have a little cash in the bank but alot of people said tuning a 8v is pointless so im just going to put the exhaust on and leave it at that...
Just my 1st car and its quite old and with bikes when you put a new exhaust on them they seem more fun and new again

The web site is called www.proven-products.co.uk
they dident have the items on the site or i could'nt find them so i asked them via email...

http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=RDBUSZHJrog same backbox as that they did offer a 4" one for no extra but dont wanna go over the top now !

Yeh i see a couple of posts about them before
I aint into tuning in the sence of spening more on the engine then the cars worth and then selling the car for £1000 when you spent loads on the engine Just wanted to buy something

A friend matt works in F1MOTO near brans hatch he can report it etc or do what ever needs to be done cheaply

couldent find any 8v manifolds really unless i wanted to spend mega bucks
