taking the unit out behind the dash,
my question is, will all the functions still work,
uotside/recirc i think still will
fan sped will
and the demist, feet, in your face knob will
but the hot cold knob? that goes to the aircon unit doesnt it? sooo is the a place on the normal heater unit box for it?
or would that have to be changed too

Adam all the other controls bar the recirculator go to the stock corsa fan setup inside the car. The recirculator one goes to the aircon box.

Just done mine last week.
One nut at the bottom (just above the steering rack)
Remove shuttlle pannel and plastic trimming under that. Remove polen filter casing and they're a few bolts under there. Be forceful.

Monster just to clear this up i know the recirculator stuff will still be there as its my old car! I did not use the main bulk of the heater matrix from a aircon car its from a regular corsa.

does it matter if its your old car?
It's a AC corsa, I happen to have one, so I know what will work and what wont when he removes the box behind the gloove box.
And i'm TELLING you recirulator is connected to that black box behind the gloove box!

Look i built the car so i know. It was a shell and i had to buy all the heater stuff for the car. The main unit inside the car has the recirculating bit attatched to it like a none aircon corsa. It also has the recirculator attatched to the aircon setup as well. I KNOW I BUILT IT FFS.

In actual fact there you go you can see the yellow tagged recirculator thing in that pic just over the white connector block so i guess it does matter that its my old car dont you think? O hold up you know my old car better than me dont you
