check the high end bravia and samsung ful 1080p tvs, cost another 400+ but you get a better tv

It depends what you are after.

I had my heart set on a 40" 1080p bravia.

Quality is amazing.

I then seen that deal in costco and though i'll save a grand and buy that.

Another thing that pushed me to just go for 720p is the fact the highest res I can get anything I watch is 720p.
