No trust me it most def would not, altho my Brothers astra Mk3 XEV has throttle bodies. it does go.. The Astra GSi is poor.
As is my xev throttle bodied keeps up with the early wrx stis, from a rolling start and they dont pull; away

i loved racing wrx's in my corsa tb'd valva, when hes hanging off ya back bumper hit the limiter and burn his front bumper. face is a picture. they doon back off. lol

could go either way .. a standard redop is prettymuch the same as the gsi to 100 so i would think a xev with those mods would be atleast as quick
