As you may know or not know Corsa B SRi windows come with a slight factory tint. Does anyone know how much percentage this might be on the drivers & passenger side window 
Also, would this effect the percentage for putting legal tints on the front of your car. As I have a friend who is looking to do this to his SRi?
What is the legal requirement anyways?

You can't have 'legal' tints put on the front.

I thought the legal amount was 25% IIIRC

so 70% light must come throung the front sides,
leave the windscreen
and the rear three can be as dark as you want

 So in theory you can get tinted windows up to 30% only.
Does anyone know how much percentage this might be on the drivers & passenger side window

ye like said by behr. you have to let 70% of light through no less. Cars these days however all have a slight tint which is usually close to 70%. so If you do tint it then it will be illegal. However if u did put a really light smoke tint on front two i dont think you will get much hassle.
I had 15% at front which is well under 70% and i got pulled over and told to remove. I did but i then got a 50 % tint which is still illegal but not had any trouble with em (touch wood lol)

I had light smoke on mine and I had to remove them. Police orders.

NO tints in front windows unless the car came with them as standard. back 3 can be dark as you like.

I've driven around with tints for over 2 years now and not once have i been pulled or looked twice at, goes to show if you don't drive about like a twat and attract attention you get treated with leniency.

I wasn't driving like a twat when I got pulled, otherwise i'm sure I would've been in trouble for driving like a twat, as well as the tints. Hammer time.

Get pulled over lots for mine but never been forced to remove them, they've just searched me for drugs etc instead

nothing to do with the way you drive. I was waiting to get onto a main road and copper went past and then when i pulled out the copper turned round and followed me then stoped me. So i was stood still when he passed me. I had them on for 2 yrs with no probs then it happened randomly. depends on what mood the copper is in.

i had 50% tints on fronts, limo rears.
no police officer ever said anything even though i was stopped 3 times and questioned whilst in my car once
