noticed the other night i switched my lights on and my whole dash lite up really dull! i mean i could barely see anything was on...just seemed to happen one night

anyone any ideas?

there is a dimmer switch below where you turn your lights on, push it all the way round to the right for full brightness

You cought the dimmer switch when you turned your lights on. Then when you turned them off you might have cought it again so it still on it brightest setting when u check.
