Just been reading this thread on VXRonline,
http://www.vxronline.co.uk/messageboard/viewtopic.php?t=6763
Its very intresting. Thorney Motorsport have a Bluefin'd mapped Corsa VXR running 230bhp already.
I believe the Milltek and Remus exhausts are nearly finnished and ready for general sale.
This car is going to be a massive hit.

Interesting!
Are that company offering to tune the new SRi up to a VXR yet?

No, I'm not sure the SRiT is even avaliable to buy just yet? Won't take long though before remaps are avaliable for it.
Loving the Bluefin idea as well, you send the specification of your car, i.e standard or full Remus exhaust system, they then produce a map for your car, send you the bluefin module and you upload the map yourself. Updates are avaliable for free and you can remove the map yourself at anytime.
£500 as well, so quite reasonably priced.

But no engine will react exctly the same so a good idea but better having a live map.

live maps are a bit of a con, what do you think the map on a standard car is? its all generic from the factory anyway, and all live maps are tweaked generic maps anyway
live maps are good for things like a n/a car running throttle bodies or something, not really much gain from wanting a simple gain on a turbo charged car

That is true and I do agree with you, but the Ford boys have been using Bluefin for years and swear by it. This is a new product for the VXR range so it will take a while to iron out the problems and get a good map for each modification. I suppose as the tuners build up a catalogue of maps the better the Bluefin will get.
