I'm looking for a wall bracket for my Sony TV (model is the KDL-32U2000) but i don't really know what fitting i need. i'm looking at these two brackets and they say they are different kinds, PTM and AM2. now does that relate to the layout of the mounting? or the kind of bracket it is? because in the details it explains that it has the VESA interface which i'm fairly certain my TV is. also, does anyone know whether i would need the optional fixing plate?

check your instruction book, your TV WILL be VESA. it should say whether its VESA 75x75, 100x200 or 200x200

let me know if u get it and what it slike as i need a new one

also PTM i "think" is Pivot Tilt Mount" and AM2 is dual swing arm

cheers mate i'll go and find my booklet now.

we used one like the top link at work while installing a home media setup for a customer, but that was a samsung TV and it was my boss that sorted it all out etc because i'm pretty clueless.

it doesn't say anywhere in my instruction book, it just says i want a SU-WL31 bracket, but they're sony's own ones and they're £220 i can't find the specification of that bracket though either

alternatively i could just measure the spaces between the holes for mounting screws
