im in same boat... a sport with 15's wrong offset though but abit confused on wot shocks to go for...i want the handling improved and bodyroll is stupid! lol...thinking of a 60mm drop on 16" softstars which im soon to buy!

was thinking of a gmax kit but are they just crap?? everyone rants and raves about coilovers but i wud doubt id use them really...£250 my budget...whats better than gmax in peoples opinions???

Mines 60!! soon to be 90mm at rear!!



You should be ok going 60mm on et49 offset!! no rubbing at all!! do it!!

Mine was lowered -60mm on corsa c sxi alloys with tyres - 195/55/15

Gmax -60mm, were £70 new, at pvs stands

mines lowered 60mm with 15" alloys and rubs really badly. but im trying to get it sorted.had the archs rolledbut still rubs

personally id go for 40mm front and 60mm rear mate. to keep it level. u have genuine vauxhall wheels so anyone will tell you rubbing wont be an issue. speedbumps also wont be an issue providing they arn't that deep. my GSI is 60 front 90 rear springs with shortened shocks all round and its fine. ride is very very rough but speedbumps are ok and i had 2 people in the back yesterday, didnt rub at all.

as said, you do need the shocks, makes a lot of difference in comfort/handling!

had 35mm drop all round on PI springs last corsa, the new one is 40mm on gmax shocks and springs (couldn't resist at a few months old for £80) with poly bushes on top mounts, so much better, speed bumps aren't a problem unless you have mudflaps, they catch everything
