Nope, 2 totally different engines. X20 has much smaller valve sizes so will never make the peak power of an XE.
Its still a good engine, its lighter than an XE, newer, still very tuneable, and not as commen.

I know there not the same engine, I understand there will be differences
some people just dont know how restrictive the ecotec system is and may think its the only difference between the ecotecs 136bhp and the XEs 155bhp
differences are the head, the smaller cam profile and ecu exhaust as well i think

TBH your still gonna have a quick car if you use the XEV, just not as quick as an XE
Id rather have a slightly less powerful low millage engine than a 100k+ XE
