I can't make it to enough games to justify a Season Ticket because of work unfortunately I'll be up there for a fair few though

was buying one, next but one seat to my mate
went to buy it, and they told me theyd got the wrong row, badgers 
was going to get another but wont make all the games, because i work weekends being a student, going for one next year though hopefully

I guess forcing season ticket holders to pay for all the cup games aswell as a price increase didnt go down too well then.

man utds arnt the most expensive, im sure were about the 8th most expensive in the prem which isnt to bad
im going to apply for every game i can this season, away games have a better following and better atmosphere

Im betting once you add on the £300+ for the cup games that you HAVE to buy that they are right up there with the most expensive.

for me its not a problem, i go to every cup game, some supporters maybe if they cant make it to games in the week or whatever

Lets be honest i pay 560 quid to watch 2 old firm games and maybe Hearts at a push
Then the only other games worth going to, the Champions League, cost more again

Yeah but not everyone can afford £600+ on a season ticket and then another £300+ ontop which they have to pay aswell. So they then cant afford to go to the games they want to.

Also, people will just sell the cup tickets to games they dont want to go to
It's only against lower division teams that some people wont want to go to, if they drew arsenal at home in the cup i bet they wouldnt be complaining then

Can you though?
As if its anything like Liverpool (which I expect it is) then season tickets will be on a card type thing (i.e. no paper tickets) and I expect the cup games will also be on this, which means you cant sell it on unless its to others you know and will give you the card back again for the next game!!

yeah, the stand Im in has had it for 3 seasons now, rolled out for all season ticket holders last year.
Its a good system really, as that card also keeps track of what games youve been to so when a final or something comes about the tickets can be given out to those who have been to the majority of matches. Also safer than sending out a load of tickets in the post and makes it harder to forge.
Means they are harder to sell too - good to combat ticket touts, but bad if you want to get rid of a few tickets for games you cant get to.

definatly! i went to Everton, Bolton, Wigan and Watford (in the FA semi) away last season, cant be beaten and its always the same faces

Im not sure if the cup games will actually be on that season ticket, they may just be in ticket form
plus they could possibly be sold on viogogo or somewhere

Id imagine, seems they are forcing all season ticket holders to buy them, that they will just use the cards. Pointless printing a load of tickets for games where the same people are being made to go as to the Prem games!
