You need to change your product code to Euro 1 or similar.

yep debrand it using (forgot name of the software) and put in the Euro1 (plub or sand) product code
then upgrade it
then change product code back in case it ever needs to go back to the manufacturer (good tip!)

munch,
i use the 3g forums guid www.3g.co.uk
go to nokia phones
then n95
theres loads of subjects on it
u download some software (forget name but its 3 letters like DSS) that lets you change the product code to a generic one (called euro 1)
then you run the nokia software updater (download from nokia website) and it will automatically update the firmware to the newest version.
then change the product code back to the normal one in case you need to return the phone to whoever its from
the code is under the battery, usually starts 5xxxxxx

When you say "unbrand", does this unlock it to any network?

If you have an O2 N95 it should be unlocked anyway. They generally don't lock their phones to a network.

Orange
I'm only bothered because it'd mean I get more money when I sell it.
